Teams are the volunteer ministries of Calvary
Teams allow everyone in the church body to use their gifts to serve others! The Bible tells us that everyone has a part in the family and a gift to use! We want to help you find a team that would fit your unique gifts!
Bereavement Team
Encourage those grieving a loss by helping with Homegoing Service details.
Care Team
Encourage, pray and prepare meals for those who are going through trials, surgeries or other physical setbacks.
CBC Kids Team
This team is designed to assist families in the spiritual formation of kids. To minister to the next generation of gospel leaders and provide a pathway for spiritual growth and health.
CBA Volunteer Team
To assist Calvary Baptist Academy in providing a spiritually-rich education for K-12th grade.
Elevate Youth Team
This team is designed to assist families in the spiritual formation of youth. To minister to the next generation of gospel leaders and provide a pathway for spiritual growth and health.
Greeters Team
To communicate the message of the gospel through warm, loving, and engaging interactions with people from the moment they enter the church.
Guest Response Team
Assist in delivering banana bread to first-time guests.
Hospitality Team
Provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere by preparing coffee and pastries for all who come to Calvary.
Ignite Singles Team
Help to setup meeting spaces that foster spiritually-healthy environments where college students/young adults can love Jesus through worship, encourage others to see Jesus and to continually learn to live in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Kitchen Team
Helps to prepare and coordinate food for special events.
Maintenance Team
Join a team that creates a clean and professional environment to help people to hear the gospel and believers to be encouraged.
Media Team
Serving God and supporting Calvary through the use of media and technology that creates an environment musically and visually that distraction-free and allows people to focus on gospel teaching. This team works alongside the music team to lead the congregation in worship and shares the gospel online through podcast and Livestream.
Missions Care Team
This team has a heart for missions and strives together for the gospel to provide spiritual and psychological care that assists our missionaries to flourish in their calling.
Music Team
Ministers to the heart of people through worshipful and engaging music during services and concerts throughout the year.
Next Step Team
Guide and direct people to the resources that would be most helpful to take their next step in following Jesus.
Nursery Team
This team is designed to allow parents to fully engage in the services at Calvary Baptist Church and to begin teaching children to have an understanding of God.
Office Support Team
Assists the secretarial staff from week to week.
Security Team
To provide a safe environment to do gospel ministry at Calvary.
Ushers Team
Help guests feel welcomed, assisted, and encouraged during the worship services. Ushers help to provide a smooth service flow by assisting people and other service-oriented interactions.
Visitation Team (Hospital)
Assist in hospital or home visits to those who are going through a physical trial or difficulty. Pray with and encourage those who are going through a difficult time or recovering.
