Thankfully Benji is now home and doing well but a second child now has the same strain of Malaria. Please pray for him and the rest of the Smith Family.

Dear Loved Ones,
Please pray for our little Josh. He woke up with the same symptoms as
Benji had last weekend only worse. We are 99.9% sure he has the same
resistant strain of malaria that Benji had. Randy just left to take him
to the hospital. About an hour after they do a blood test, they can tell
us whether or not he's positive for malaria. It takes another 5-6 hours
to tell us what kind of malaria it is, how many parasites he has in his
bloodstream, and to give us a breakdown of his blood cell counts.

Please pray for Randy as I know he's exhausted right now. I wish I could
be in 2 places in at once, but we decided it was best for me to hold the
fort here at home. This way, I can continue to take care of Benji and
school Jonathan and Ree.

Yesterday, I read Benji "Mom's Post Malaria Miranda Rights". They were:
You have the right to remain calm. Any objections you may have about what
I am about to tell you will be ignored. You have the right to lay on the
couch, watch cartoons, and drink as many smoothies as your stomach can
handle. You have the right to be out of school for the remainder of the
week. If you choose to disobey any of these rights, you will be in BIG
trouble mister. He rather enjoyed it I think!!!!
